CFYW Spring Update

It's been a while since we updated everyone on what's going on - sorry about that! Sometimes 140-character messages aren't enough, so here's a quick blurb on what's going on.

We just re-installed the billboard we did in Miami back in 2010 during the art fairs. We scrunched it into the window on Cabot Street at one of Montserrat College of Art's galleries, and, like an old friend, we kinda seeing it again! It won't be up for long, though, so take a drive by before it vanishes.

Go there!

Finally, one of our non-CFYW photographs will be a part of a group show at Gallery Kayafas in June. We will post details as we get closer - promise!

CFYW reviewed in The Boston Globe

We are thrilled with the recent Boston Globe review of the exhibit at Gallery Kayafas! From the first paragraph of Cate McQuaid's column: "It’s funny, wry, and self-mocking - accessible on many levels."  We're glad to have the concept come through loud and clear. The Globe also ran a photo of the Rose Museum installation from 2009.

Great to paired up with Thomas Gustainis and Daniel Ranalli!

Greetings from Miami!

Thanks to everyone for the great reception this week - totally beyond expectations. Fun to see so many people, but disappointing to have missed even more. We'll post some installation signs this week on our web site, so stay tuned.

Back to Miami

CFYW will be bringing some special treats for the Miami art fairs this year. You will find us at two locations at Pulse Art Fair (our favorite fair last year), at J Riggs Fine Art on North Miami Ave, and in and around the streets of Wynnwood and South Beach. In addition, we'll have a new billboard going up on the corner of North Miami Ave and 29th Street, right next to the Rubell Collection. (The one above got taken down over the summer - too bad.)

Finally, we'll have a pile of new stickers to share with folks - hunt us down and we'll hook you up!

See you in London!

Our staff arrives in London tomorrow mainly to present new work at Moniker Art Fair in Shoreditch, London. Huge thanks to Mark Chalmers and The Garage for inviting us - we are super excited about it. (That's ok to say, right?)

Thanks also to the folks at Moniker for presenting three new CFYW prints for the opening (press, VIPs, etc.). We are honored to be selected, and will post some photos of the prints later this week.

If you are in London, stop by and say hello. We'll be there from Thursday to Sunday. Admission is free. Other artists presenting include Aiko, The London Police, Herakut, Eine, and others. In addition, we will be installing signs in and around the city - keep your eyes peeled.
